Woodlore Shutters are made from a wood composite that is up to 95% wood mixed with polymers under heat and pressure to yield a strong, predictable finished product. The wood core is coated with a patented polypropylene finish to give it further strength and protection from cracking, chipping, yellowing or fading from UV exposure.
Woodlore Shutters are available in a number of different sizes, shapes and frame styles that can be mounted either inside or outside of the window opening. Each shutter is custom made to fit the specific opening and the measurements will vary depending on the style and mounting location chosen. Measuring for shutters is best left to the professionals but there are online measuring guidelines available for those with appropriate skills.
Woodlore shutters can be cleaned by utilizing a dry feather duster, cloth or vacuum with brush attachment to gently remove dust and debris. For best results, a cotton cloth may be dampened with water when necessary.
